Job summary

Entergy is seeking a Drafter II/III/Sr to perform drafting and document management for nuclear power plants using MicroStation Connect. The role involves assembling and revising drawings per engineering modifications under supervision.

Applicants should have 4+ years of drafting experience (or equivalent) and be proficient in CAD and Microsoft Office, with strong communication skills and the ability to work with multiple teams. Onsite location in Jackson, MS is required.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years' experience for Drafter II (2-year cert + 2 years exp acceptable).
• 6–8 years' experience for Drafter III (or 2-year cert + 4 years).
• 8+ years for Drafter Sr (or 2-year cert + 6 years).
• Preferred: 2-year technical degree or CAD certification.

Responsibilities

• Makes and designs preliminary and final layouts from engineering markups and notes.
• Prepare drawings based on modifications and specs.
• Revise drawings per engineering direction and configuration standards.
• Maintain drawing standards and plant design requirements.
• Manage document control and version tracking for drawings.
• Collaborate with engineers on layout, safety, and equipment suitability.
