Job summary

Actalent is hiring a Design Drafter II/III in Orlando, FL, to translate engineering concepts into precise 2D and 3D drawings and models. You will collaborate with engineers and designers, using SolidWorks and other CAD tools to develop detailed documentation for complex assemblies and systems.

The role emphasizes adherence to drafting standards, GD&T, and drawing control via PDM/PLM systems, supporting quality management and project requirements in a professional design environment.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of design drafting experience using CAD and 3D modeling software.
• Proficiency with 2D and 3D CAD, with strong hands-on experience in SolidWorks.
• Knowledge of drafting principles and industry standards including Y14 series.

Responsibilities

• Interpret sketches and inputs to create detailed 2D/3D drawings and models.
• Apply CAD tools and drafting principles to represent mechanical and electrical components.
• Ensure drawings clearly convey information for manufacturing and construction with GD&T and annotations.
