Job summary

Oceaneering is seeking a Staff Designer to generate solid models, layouts, assemblies, and detailed drawings for mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic equipment of moderate complexity. You will also prepare sketches for technical documents and may supervise other designers and drafters.

The role emphasizes independent work in a collaborative environment, familiarity with GD&T, and close interaction with engineers and manufacturing personnel to ensure manufacturability.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in design, drafting, or related engineering field.
• Formal training in Dassault Systèmes SolidWorks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and check CADD drawings for mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic systems.
• Mentor and supervise designers and drafters on projects.
• Coordinate with engineers and manufacturing to ensure manufacturability and timely delivery.
