Designer (CAD) leads design work for plant systems and owns the integrated model of record, maintaining CAD/BIM standards and providing technical direction to the design staff. The annual base salary range for this position is $95,000.00 - $115,000.00 plus a comprehensive compensation package.

Qualifikationen

• Associate degree in engineering or related field with 7–10 years of design experience, or a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering with 5–8 years.
• Experience with AutoCAD Plant 3D, Revit, and SolidWorks.
• Proficiency with Navisworks Manage for clash detection.
• Experience checking/approving design deliverables.
• Experience maintaining CAD standards, templates, and catalogs.
• Strong knowledge of pipe routing, supports, and constructability.
• Understanding of ASME B31.3 and related design codes.

Aufgaben

• Develop preliminary layouts, piping routing studies, and equipment arrangements.
• Create and modify PFDs, P&IDs, and 3D plant piping in AutoCAD Plant 3D, Revit and SolidWorks.
• Own federated model of record and coordinate with disciplines.
• Plan and execute clash detection in Navisworks and drive resolutions.
• Review vendor drawings and incorporate approved data into the model.
• Prepare as-built walkdowns and manage drawing revisions.
