Job summary

Dawar Consulting is seeking a CAD Designer / Drafter based out of Milpitas, CA. In this role, you will support engineering teams by creating and modifying detailed mechanical drawings using CAD software. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of CAD drafting experience and proficiency in tools like Creo and SolidWorks.

This position offers a long-term contract with a competitive rate of $35-$37 per hour, along with company benefits such as medical, dental, vision, paid sick leave, and 401K.

Qualifications

• 4–6+ years of CAD drafting or mechanical design experience.
• Proficiency with CAD software such as Creo, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of engineering documentation, revision control, and change management processes (ECN/ECR).
• Experience in semiconductor, electronics, medical device, or high-tech manufacturing environments would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify detailed engineering drawings using CAD software.
• Develop drawings from engineering sketches, layouts, and design notes.
• Review and verify drawing accuracy, completeness, and compliance with drafting standards.
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure model accuracy and design intent are properly documented.
