BorgWarner is seeking a Senior Designer to develop complex designs and stack-ups for assemblies under minimal supervision. The role involves checking details, maintaining CAD data, and advancing CAD/CAM methods while collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams.

The candidate should have an Associate Degree in Design/Drafting, strong CAD skills (NX; CAD experience with CATIA), and experience in the automotive sector.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Design/Drafting is required.
• Proficiency in NX CAD is required.
• Experience in automotive design is required.
• Ability to read and understand complex drawings and GD&T.
• Proficiency with CATIA, TeamCenter, and DFM/DFA preferred.

Responsabilités

• Develop accurate complex designs, layouts, and stack-ups of parts or assemblies.
• Check detail drawings and layouts and perform drafting tasks as required.
• Determine critical dimensions and tolerances with engineering input.
• Maintain CAD/CAM files and pursue advanced CAD/CAM methods and CAE training.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, engineers, and co-workers to ensure progress.
• Develop and maintain design standards, work instructions, and prototype BOM management.
