Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Design/Drafting required.
• Proficiency in NX CAD required.
• Experience in the automotive industry required.
• Ability to read and understand complex design drawings, layouts, GD&T required.
• Proficiency in CATIA and TeamCenter preferred.

Responsabilités

• Develop accurate complex designs, layouts, and stack-ups of individual parts or assemblies.
• Check detail drawings and layouts and produce drafting tasks as required.
• Determine critical dimensions and tolerances by working with engineers.
• Maintain CAD/CAM files and data.
• Continue training in advanced CAD/CAM methods and equipment and start/continue training with CAE methods and equipment.
• Provide smooth interchange of ideas between supervisor, engineers, and co-workers.
• Maintain drafting standards and work instructions and other tools to enhance efficiency.
• Brainstorm new design concepts and assist in prototype BOM management.
