Job description

What Your Day Will Look Like:

As a senior CAD designer, you'll provide technical drafting support and lead the preparation of plans for various municipal and transportation infrastructure projects. This includes collaborating with project managers and engineers to review engineering drawing packages. You'll work on planning documents, developing preliminary and detailed designs, and preparing permitting documents. The senior CAD designer reports to the project manager.

What You'll Do:

  • Review construction plans, details, and figures for drafting and design.
  • Transform initial rough designs, sketches, and mark-ups into finished plan drawings.
  • Generate engineering drawings for initial and conclusive plan sets, collaborating closely with other drafters and engineers to ensure a coordinated design.
  • Assist in the preparation of technical documents and reports.

What You'll Need:

  • Associate of Science in Engineering Technology.
  • Proficiency in OpenRoads and InRoads (required).
