Job summary

Charlie Mike Recruiting seeks a senior CAD Designer with at least five years of experience in commercial construction to produce CAD drawings, blueprints and technical plans. You will collaborate with architects, engineers, project managers, and clients to ensure compliance with codes, safety standards, and the project specifications.

You will use AutoCAD, Revit and BIM tools to develop designs, perform material take-offs, and support cost estimations, while maintaining thorough documentation

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a CAD Designer in commercial construction.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other CAD software.
• Strong knowledge of commercial construction systems, materials, and installation methods.
• Understanding of building codes, construction standards, and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Senior CAD Designer specializing in commercial construction to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in CAD design for construction projects and a strong understanding of commercial construction systems, materials, and processes. You will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings, collaborating with project managers, and ensuring designs meet industry standards and client requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with BIM modeling and 3D design tools.
• Familiarity with estimating software for construction materials.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required).
• Certifications in construction or CAD software are a plus.
