Job summary

Charlie Mike Recruiting is seeking a Senior CAD Designer to join our team. The role focuses on CAD design for commercial construction, with at least five years in the field and a solid understanding of construction systems, codes, and processes.

You will produce detailed drawings, partner with project teams, and ensure compliance with standards. Responsibilities include creating CAD drawings, collaborating with architects and engineers, reviewing drawings, and supporting the construction phase

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a CAD Designer in the commercial construction industry.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other CAD software.
• Strong knowledge of commercial construction systems, materials, and installation methods.
• Understanding of building codes, construction standards, and safety regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret construction documents and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop accurate CAD drawings, blueprints, and technical plans for commercial construction projects.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, project managers, and clients to ensure project specifications are met.
• Review and interpret architectural and engineering drawings related to construction systems.

• Assist in material take-offs and cost estimations.

We are seeking an experienced Senior CAD Designer specializing in commercial construction to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in CAD design for construction projects and a strong understanding of commercial construction systems, materials, and processes. You will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings, collaborating with project managers, and ensuring designs meet industry standards and client requirements.

• Certifications in construction or CAD software are a plus.
