Position Summary

McCormick Taylor has an immediate opening for a Senior CAD Designer in our Transportation Engineering Department. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative team environment. We are seeking an individual who can handle multiple projects, meet deadlines and work well in a hybrid remote office environment. Strong written, interpersonal, and oral communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to organize are required.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities

1. Understand the concept of a specific design and assist the engineer with geometry and surface changes or modifications.
2. Create design plan sets and other similar project deliverables.
3. Manage multiple projects with the daily workload.
4. Configure files and work with IT to resolve software issues.
5. Oversee QA/QC for technical accuracy of work.

Qualifications

1. 15+ years of experience.
2. Degree: High school diploma.
3. Proficient in MicroStation.
4. Experience with various CAD programs.
5. Entry-level engineering experience to assist the Project Engineer with various tasks.
6. Understanding of printers and plotters.
