Job summary

Intelligent Manufacturing, the home of SigmaNEST, is seeking a Senior Application Engineer to serve as the escalation lead for complex SigmaNEST issues, coupling deep CAD/CAM knowledge with strong communication. You will mentor the support team and collaborate with Sales and Development to deliver fixes and best practices.

Travel up to 25% to customer sites, provide engineering-level support, and help advance AI-driven tools and a robust knowledge base that boosts team productivity and customer

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in technical support with escalations.
• 5+ years experience with mechanical/manufacturing engineering or equivalent.
• Experience troubleshooting CAD/CAM or CNC programming issues.
• Proficiency with SigmaNEST or similar CAD/CAM nesting software.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary escalation point for complex SigmaNEST issues.
• Mentor support agents and advocate best practices.
• Collaborate with Sales and Development for fixes and demonstrations.
• Provide AI-assisted tooling and knowledge-base improvements.
