Job summary

Nova Space Solutions, LLC seeks a Drafting Lead for the engineering team at Stennis Space Center, MS. You will supervise drafting/modeling tasks and mentor drafters, ensuring CAD standards and MB E practices across 2D/3D projects.

Responsibilities include workload forecasting, assigning personnel, peer reviews, and ensuring timely delivery using AutoCAD and Revit. U.S. citizenship and NASA badge eligibility, background checks, and drug screening are required.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of training or two (2) years of college with drafting/engineering courses.
• Three (3) years BIM experience, e.g., AutoDesk Revit.
• Three (3) years AutoCAD experience.
• U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain NASA badge.
• Must provideIdentity documents at hire; English communication required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Track, monitor, and forecast workload of CAD/BIM drafters/designers/modelers.
• Provide drawing and model peer review and final checking.
• Assist engineering supervisor with assigning drafters, designers, and modelers to projects.
• Maintain drafting standards and assist with training objectives.
• Update site drawings and models for field changes during construction.
