Job summary

Chugach Government Solutions seeks a Drafting Lead at Stennis Space Center, MS. You will oversee drafting, modeling, and CAD standards, mentoring drafters, and ensuring timely delivery of site drawings and models for construction phases.

You will collaborate with the engineering team, manage workload, and ensure compliance with SSC standards, MB E practices, and training objectives. Requires Revit, AutoCAD, Windchill, and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Two years vocational training or two-year college with relevant courses plus six years relevant experience.
• Three years BIM experience (e.g., AutoDesk Revit).
• Three years AutoCAD experience.
• U.S. Citizen required to obtain NASA badge.
• Effective English communication (verbal and written).
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Proficiency in Windchill and DDMS.

Responsibilities

• Track, monitor, and forecast workload of CAD/BIM drafters/designers/modelers.
• Provide drawing, model peer review and final checking.
• Assist engineering supervisor with assigning staff to projects.
• Develop and maintain CAD standards and templates.
• Update 2D/3D models for field changes and as-built records.
