Job summary

Stratus is seeking a senior CAD/BIM Designer IV in Jacksonville, FL to lead complex digital modeling and multi-disciplinary coordination on large projects. You will set modeling standards, drive efficient workflows, and mentor junior designers to ensure high-quality documentation.

The role requires advanced CAD/BIM expertise, collaboration with managers, architects, engineers, and clients, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Stratus offers hybrid work and strong development opportunities.

Qualifications

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree or certification in CAD, BIM, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
6–8 years of experience in CAD/BIM design on complex, multi-disciplinary projects.

Responsibilities

Lead the development of detailed 2D/3D CAD/BIM models and construction documents.
Oversee multi-disciplinary coordination within CAD/BIM environments.
Set and monitor CAD/BIM standards across design stages.
Provide mentorship to junior/intermediate designers.
Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to resolve design issues.
Conduct advanced quality control reviews of CAD/BIM deliverables.
Develop workflows to improve efficiency across large projects.
Troubleshoot complex design/software issues.
Prepare high-quality presentations, visualizations, and 3D renderings for meetings.
Stay updated on CAD/BIM tech and industry standards.
