Job summary

NK CABINETS, INC. is seeking a senior, hands-on Purchaser to own purchasing for our custom cabinet and architectural millwork operation. You will use deep materials knowledge to guide sourcing, control costs, and ensure timely delivery to production.

This role requires experience with custom cabinetry or architectural woodwork, collaboration across engineering, production, and administration, and a proven ability to negotiate with suppliers and manage inventory.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years purchasing in custom cabinet or architectural millwork
• Ability to review drawings and validate material specs
• Strong negotiation skills and supplier management
• Experience with inventory management and ERP systems

Responsibilities

• Own purchasing for custom cabinetry and millwork
• Review specs and validate material selections
• Source materials, negotiate pricing, and manage supplier relationships
• Align purchasing with shop schedules and manage lead times
