Job summary

CLA is seeking a Senior to join our CAAS (Manufacturing Industry) group in Green Bay, WI or Appleton, WI offices. This role focuses on client service, day-to-day accounting processing, month-end close, and tax/audit support for diverse manufacturing clients.

Two years of accounting experience and a bachelor’s degree are required. You will supervise Associates, handle multiple clients, and contribute to process improvements and quarterly/annual workpapers.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant accounting and/or financial experience is required.
• Bachelor's degree is required. Combination of related experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Client Service: Develops an understanding of each client’s business/organization operations.
• Day to Day Transactions: Leads coordination and processing of accounts payable, cash disbursements, accounts receivable, cash receipts and posting/recording of payroll transactions.
• Month End Processing: Coordinates and reviews account reconciliations and prepares financial statements; reviews general ledger and cashflow.
• Other Quarterly/Annual Processing: Completes sales tax returns and Form 1099s and audit workpapers.
• Oversee workflow and quality of work of Associates and Analysts; supervise and ensure efficiency and quality.
• Special Projects: Assists with internal audit, due diligence, system selection, and other consultative projects.
