Job summary

Vogrinc Search Group is seeking an experienced California-licensed attorney to join its civil litigation and creditors' rights practice. The role blends courtroom representation with document review, signing, and case oversight.

The ideal candidate will manage high-volume filings and settlements independently, with support from an established legal team and ongoing training opportunities in collections and creditors' rights litigation.

Qualifications

• Active California law license required.
• 5–7 years civil litigation experience, including collections or creditors' rights preferred.
• Experience appearing in court and handling hearings independently.
• Strong understanding of civil litigation procedures and filings.
• Ability to review and sign a high volume of documents accurately.
• Excellent written, verbal communication and legal research skills.
• Ability to mentor colleagues and manage multiple matters with deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in court hearings and related civil litigation matters.
• Review, approve, and sign numerous pleadings and filings.
• Manage litigation matters compliant with California rules.
• Review discovery, evaluate case information, and decide actions.
• Negotiate settlements with applicable parties.
• Prepare and file required legal documents timely.
• Communicate case progress with Managing Attorney and clients.
• Conduct legal research using statutes and precedents.
• Coordinate with outside counsel as needed.
• Support client audits and compliance requirements.
