Job summary
Envisioneering, Inc. seeks a Senior Communications and Networks Specialist to support the Office of Naval Research (ONR) and its Science and Technology portfolio.
The role centers on developing and evaluating technology programs, systems engineering and integration, and optimizing S&T efforts to align with C5ISRT priorities. The candidate will produce papers and briefings for diverse audiences, coordinate with program officers, and assist in contracting and acquisition activities to advance Navy
Qualifications
- Current TOP SECRET Clearance and SCI eligibility or ability to obtain SCI clearance.
- Demonstrated expertise in commercial and military communications.
- Experience in anti-jam, low-probability-of-intercept, adaptive equalization, signal processing, bandwidth-efficient modulation.
- Experience in standards, networking, interoperability, network management and security issues.
- Understanding Naval applications of space-based communications for broad Naval requirements.
- Experience in combat system and C4I interoperability.
- Coordinating S&T development with program schedules and technology deployment agreements.
- Ability to develop technology roadmaps for S&T program transitions.
Responsibilities
- Assist ONR Program Officers in developing technology programs and roadmaps to address capability gaps.
- Monitor and evaluate S&T efforts funded in academia, government labs, and industry.
- Develop papers and presentations for audiences from deckplate sailors to Congressional staff and Senior Executives.
- Present briefings to support ONR Program Officers as needed.
- Collaborate with ONR contracts to define Statements of Work and requirements for S&T performers.
- Staff documents and briefings with Resource Sponsors and Acquisition Offices to gain program support.
