Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. Maritime Division seeks a Senior Installer to lead installation crews aboard ships and submarines, coordinating single-site work and briefing site personnel on status and future plans.

You will read and red-line as-built drawings, correct violations, and install cabling, equipment, and devices using fiber optic and copper connectors with hand tools and test equipment. Travel to shipyards nationwide; US citizenship and clearance eligibility required.

Qualifications

• 12+ years as installer, incl. 3+ years afloat C4ISR with US Navy
• Formal apprenticeship or military technical training in relevant field
• Associates degree or higher preferred in Electrical/Electronics/IT

Responsibilities

• Lead a crew of installers on single-site C4ISR installation projects.
• Brief site personnel on status and future plans.
• Read and red-line as-built drawings to ensure compliance and corrections.
• Locate and correct installation errors and violations.
• Support cabling, equipment and device installations on ships/submarines.
• Demonstrate proficiency with common installation hand tools and test equipment.
• Ensure workmanship is safe, organized, and mission-critical compliant.
