Job summary

Goliath Partners is seeking a Senior C++ Engineer to own foundational infrastructure that underpins large-scale, real-time systems. This role focuses on core platform components, concurrency, and high-performance software used across the firm.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and optimize backend services and frameworks, enabling engineering teams to build and operate production software reliably at scale within a sophisticated environment.

Qualifications

• Production software experience in modern C++ (C++17/20+).
• Strong Linux, concurrency, and performance optimization know-how.
• Experience with backend infrastructure or distributed platforms.
• Familiarity with high-performance, low-latency environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Engineer high-performance core platform components in modern C++.
• Develop reusable services, frameworks, libraries, and infrastructure.
• Identify and remove performance bottlenecks in concurrency, memory, and scheduling.
• Build internal developer platforms, tooling, and automation.
• Collaborate with infra, networking, and platform engineers on distributed systems.
• Contribute to design evolution with focus on scalability, reliability, observability.
• Participate in architectural discussions and code reviews; mentor engineers.
