Job summary

Cadence Design Systems is seeking a remarkably talented Software Engineer to join the Palladium Software Development team. You will work with a small team of engineers to develop the next generation Palladium emulation platform and Cadence's emulation products for multi-billion gate designs.

The role emphasizes strong C/C++/STL development, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and writing rigorous tests.

Qualifications

BS with 10+ years, MS with 7+, or PhD with 5+ years of experience.
Strong C++ software development experience is essential.
Proficiency in C/C++/STL and collaboration on coding projects.
Experience with Linux kernel or device drivers is desirable.
Experience with multi-threading and TCP/IP programming is a plus.
Familiarity with industry simulation or emulation products is beneficial.

Responsibilities

Write C/C++ to implement the software and operating environment for the emulation platform and features.
Design the features, flows, and interfaces for the emulation platforms with other engineers.
Write functional, implementation, and test specifications for your code and features.
Implement unit, integration, and system tests for your code and features.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams across all aspects of Palladium
