Job summary

Cadence Design Systems in New Jersey seeks an engineer to join our team and contribute to the Palladium platform, the world’s most scalable emulation system. You will work on compiler development for emulation, applying multithreading and distributed computing to solve large-scale compile problems.

Candidates should have strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms with C/C++, gdb, Linux/Unix, and experience with build and version-control systems.

Qualifications

MS degree with 2 years of experience or PhD in engineering, CS, or related field.
Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
Experience with C/C++, gdb, and software development.
Familiarity with Linux/Unix and build/version-control systems.
HDL coursework in Verilog, SystemVerilog, or VHDL.
Exposure to electronic design platforms.

Responsibilities

Contribute to emulator compiler development and optimization.
Apply multi-threading and distributed computing to large-scale compile problems.
Work on logic optimization, partitioning and routing.
