Job summary

RTX, located in Huntsville, Alabama, seeks a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop and maintain high-performance C++ software in an on-site role. The candidate will work in Linux environments, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to SDLC activities within an Agile framework.

Required are a STEM degree with 5+ years of C++ experience and the ability to obtain interim secret clearance; U.S. citizenship is mandatory for clearance eligibility.

Qualifications

• Degree in STEM field and 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in C++ software development.
• Experience on Linux/Unix platforms.
• Experience debugging with gdb/Valgrind.
• Ability to obtain/maintain interim secret clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-performance C++ software.
• Work on Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting.
• Collaborate with product management, QA, and DevOps.
