Job summary

KLA Industries, Inc. is seeking a versatile software engineer to maintain and extend its ASR C++ code base for ground station and drone operations.

The role includes developing new algorithms and enhancing our communications protocol, while contributing to software architecture and engineering processes. The ideal candidate has strong C++ experience, proficiency in Linux/POSIX, and a solid background in mathematics or physics.

Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen.
• Strong development experience with C++.
• Experience with Linux and POSIX.
• Front end web development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Backend development using Python.
• Android development using Java or Kotlin.
• Strong OO design and methodologies.
• Background in mathematics/physics, vector operations.
• Expert in C/C++ with STL.
• Low-level knowledge: compiler/memory management.
• Experience in Linux environments (POSIX, etc).
• Ability to work independently with limited oversight.
• Experience with Agile development and aerospace software processes.
• U.S. security clearance or ability to obtain one.
