Job summary

Tom Trese Networking LLC is seeking a capable software engineer to maintain and extend the ASR C++ code base for ground station and drone operations. You will contribute to new algorithm development and modify our communications protocol, while shaping software architecture and process in an aerospace context.

The role requires strong C++ expertise, Linux experience, and a US citizenship with the ability to obtain a security clearance.

Qualifications

• US citizenship is required.
• Strong development experience with C++.
• Frontend web development using HTML CSS, JavaScript.
• Backend development using Python.
• Android development using Java or Kotlin.
• Strong grasp of object-oriented development.
• Strong mathematical or physics background; comfort with vector operations.
• Expert in coding in C and C++ including the STL.
• Advanced low-level knowledge such as compiler operation and memory management.
• Experience in Linux development with POSIX and similar libraries.
• Ability to work independently with limited oversight.
• Experience with aerospace software development processes.
• US security clearance or ability to obtain one.
