Job summary

SME Careers is hiring a C++ Quality Assurance Lead (QAL) as a remote hourly contractor to oversee quality across C++ AI training projects. You will review AI-generated C++ code, assess trainer work, and provide precise feedback to maintain client-aligned standards.

You will monitor code correctness, memory safety, performance, and readability; manage QA workflows across distributed teams; and contribute to style guides and onboarding materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/Engineering.
• Strong English communication and ability to follow guidelines.
• 3+ years of professional experience in C++ development, QA, or code reviews.
• Deep knowledge of modern C++ standards, RAII, templates, STL, memory management, and concurrency.
• Experience with code review, debugging, and performance optimization.

Responsibilities

• Quality monitoring of C++ items and providing feedback to contributors.
• Review AI-generated C++ code, tests, and explanations against rubrics.
• Coordinate with remote trainer/reviewer teams and update guidelines.
• Onboard and train new contributors, maintain C++ style guides.
• Identify recurring quality gaps and help build scalable QA processes.
