Job summary

Osi Digital Inc. is seeking a Senior Technical Lead to own the POS codebase across onshore and offshore teams. You will guide incremental modernization, review changes for risk, and ensure dependable releases while mentoring engineers and aligning with business goals.

You will collaborate with The Customer onsite as needed, writing code and influencing architecture to improve quality and robustness of the system.

Qualifications

10-15 years of IT experience with deep C#/.NET Framework 4.x expertise.
Hands-on migration experience to .NET 6/8/10, multi-targeting, and package management.
Strong WCF skills: bindings, configurations, contracts, debugging services.
SQL Server/ADO.NET experience, including stored procedures and DataSets.
Proven ability to ship code to production with safe release practices.
Clear written communication with onshore/offshore teams and client stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Own the technical direction of the POS codebase and ensure health, stability, and evolution.
Lead incremental modernization from .NET Framework toward modern .NET without a big-bang rewrite.
Review changes for risk and ensure safe production releases.
Coordinate decisions across onshore and offshore developers for consistency.
Mentor senior engineers and set engineering standards for code, docs, and processes.
Engage with The Customer onsite to understand needs and propose improvements.
Leave systems in better shape than you found them.
