Job summary

Focus Capital Markets is seeking a senior software engineer to join our Connecticut-based hedge fund ecosystem. You will develop and enhance applications, build and scale APIs, and partner with business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.

The role covers both backend and frontend work, with Core Java and C#/.Net back-ends and Angular on the front-end. You will work onsite Monday-Thursday, contributing to a stable, growth-oriented organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with C#//.Net or Java technologies.
• Experience with Angular or React is relevant.
• Experience with SQL is preferred.
• Experience with REST APIs.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, mathematics or related field.
• Must have excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance applications and APIs across verticals within Focus Capital Markets.
• Collaborate with business teams to define technical solutions for requirements.
• Work with both backend (.NET/Java) and frontend (Angular/React) stacks on modern platforms.
