Job summary

General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI) seeks a Software Engineer (C++17, Linux) to join the Mission Processing Software team in Poway, CA. You will design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise software integral to UAS technologies.

The role requires a CS or CE degree and experience with C++17, Linux, and multi-threaded systems; DoD clearance is desirable. Collaboration with domain experts and adherence to standards are essential.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a bachelor's degree, master's degree or PhD in computer science, information systems or related discipline and progressive software development experience.
• Four+ years with a bachelor's or two+ years with a master's in the field.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop C++ 17 infrastructure and services for x86 and ARM 9 systems.
• Use Petalinux build tools for ARM 9 systems.
• Responsible for unit testing, integration testing, software maintenance, and documentation and ensuring software quality and compliance.
