Job summary

Zions Bancorporation in Utah seeks a Complex Commercial & Industrial Loan Closing Administrator to support the closing of our most complex C&I transactions. You will interpret loan documents, resolve closing issues, and help ensure asset protection and compliance throughout the process.

The role requires strong analytical, research, and communication skills, with experience mentoring junior staff and collaborating with relationship managers, underwriters, and outside counsel to drive timely

Qualifications

• 4+ years in complex commercial loan closing or C&I documentation.
• Experience mentoring peers is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of UCC Article 9, lien perfection, and asset-backed lending.
• Ability to collaborate with outside counsel and cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of BOI, Reg B, and AML controls.

Responsibilities

• Review complex C&I credit approvals for compliance and lending authority.
• Coordinate UCC-1 filings, DACAs, and lien perfection.
• Analyze collateral and ensure accurate loan documentation.
• Coordinate with outside counsel on custom loan documents.
• Maintain client and partner communications to expedite closings.
• Mentor junior staff and share expertise with team.
