Job summary

Flow Traders NV is seeking Senior C++ Software Engineers to join our Amsterdam team. You will lead the development of our Core platform used across market data, quantitative research, pricing and trading strategies, while building tools to tune and optimize data-driven pricing and trading decisions.

You will collaborate with researchers, quants and traders to refine requirements and implement scalable, low-latency solutions.

Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or equivalent
5+ years of professional C++ software development experience (proprietary trading preferred)
Ability to write clean, reliable, and highly scalable code
Good knowledge of algorithms and data structures
Experience in parallel, asynchronous, and multithreaded programming
Interest in achieving maximum performance from hardware/software
Strong communication with technical and non-technical colleagues

Responsibilities

Lead development and global rollout of the Core platform used by multiple focus groups (Market data, Quant research, Pricing, Strategies)
Develop tools/frameworks to enable data-driven pricing and trading strategy development
Work with engineers, quants and traders to refine requirements and iterate on design and implementation
Write software that communicates with exchanges via APIs (FIX, WebSocket, HTTP) and optimize exchange connectivity
Invest in testing, quality assurance, and production issue resolution
Prepare for releases and deployments of new trading engine versions
