Flow Traders is seeking Senior C++ Software Engineers to join our growing team in New York or Chicago. You will build event-driven trading systems that process tens of thousands of products with ultra-low latency, enabling researchers and traders to make informed decisions.

You will collaborate with technologists, quants, and traders to evolve our in-house platform, from venue connectivity to engines and shared libraries.

Competenze

• 5+ years post-graduation C++ software development experience (proprietary trading preferred).
• Ability to write clean, reliable, and highly scalable code; strong knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
• Experience in parallel, asynchronous, and multithreaded programming.
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical colleagues.

Mansioni

• Lead development and global rollout of our Core platform used across markets (data, research, pricing, strategies).
• Develop tools/frameworks to support data-driven trading and pricing.
• Build exchange connectivity software via APIs (FIX, WebSocket, HTTP) and optimize performance.
• Collaborate with quants, traders and engineers to refine requirements and designs.
• Investigate production issues and ensure reliability and stability of trading engines.
