Job summary

Flow Traders is seeking a Senior C++ Software Engineer to join our Amsterdam team. You will help build the core, low-latency trading platform used by researchers and traders to analyze markets and execute strategies.

You will lead development across market data, pricing, and execution, collaborate with quants and traders, and optimize performance and reliability to maintain Flow Traders' edge in electronic trading.

Qualifications

• 5+ years post-graduation C++ software development experience (proprietary trading industry preferred).
• BSc, MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics or equivalent.
• Ability to write clean, reliable, and highly scalable code.
• Experience in parallel, asynchronous, and multithreaded programming.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and global rollout of our Core platform used across groups.
• Develop tools/frameworks for data-driven pricing and trading strategies.
• Write exchange connectivity software using APIs (FIX, WebSocket, HTTP).
• Collaborate with Quants and Technical traders to refine requirements and design.
