Job summary

Qualifications

• A relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology or Computer/Engineering Sciences.
• Strong Microsoft web development toolsets and a solid grasp of C# and the .NET Framework.
• In-depth ASP.NET, C#.NET and XML on .NET 4.7.2+.

Responsibilities

• Build code that travels; create reusable components across platforms.
• Break complex problems into manageable work for the team.
• Support live systems and build what's next without breaking either.
• Learn the product domain and translate rough requirements with analysts into working software.
• Refactor with intent to keep the codebase maintainable and adaptable.
• Hold standards, follow and improve team processes.
• Push performance and high availability under real load.
• Write unit and integrated tests to prove features work.
• Document component interactions and usage for future teams.
• Review code to protect quality before client delivery.
• Build trust with clients and be dependable under pressure.
• Root cause analysis and fix at the source of defects.
• Build and deploy onto the application server and own the result.
• Run own functional test scenarios before others.
• Incorporate peers' changes and close gaps in tests and data.
• Guide junior and intermediate developers towards timely, quality work.
• Provide technical leadership to the team and adjacent teams.
