Job summary

Broadridge Financial Solutions is seeking a Senior C++ Software Developer to help deliver high-quality products in partnership with team members, ensuring timely delivery and strong technical execution.

You will gather requirements and designs, write production code for the required product, support legacy code, plan software activities, and collaborate across Windows and Linux platforms in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• 5+ years of C++ development, design or equivalent combination of education, skills and experience.
• Experience with STL (Boost and similar libraries).
• Working knowledge of OOP, design patterns, algorithms and data structures.
• Strong multithreading programming and networking skills.
• Knowledge of memory dumps analysis is an advantage.
• Experience with Windows and Linux platforms.
• Good problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new technologies.
• Knowledge of exchanges and electronic trading is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Gather and produce requirements and designs.
• Write production quality and test code according to requirements; support legacy code.
• Accurately plan software development activities and follow established processes.
