Placements24 client, a leading fintech innovator in Welkom, seeks a Senior Software Engineer specializing in backend development to design, build, and maintain scalable server-side applications powering financial services.

You will work with Java/Python/C#, microservices, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), collaborating across teams to deliver robust features while ensuring reliability and security. Hybrid work arrangement in Welkom offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of backend experience.
• Proficiency in one modern backend language and frameworks.
• Deep understanding of relational and non-relational databases, caching, and queues.
• Experience with microservices, containers, and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable backend services and APIs.
• Optimize performance and database efficiency for large-scale deployments.
• Write clean, tested code and participate in reviews.
• Collaborate with frontend, product, and QA teams to deliver features end-to-end.
• Troubleshoot production and staging issues.
