Job summary

Simple Solutions is seeking a Senior C++ Developer / Software Engineer in the Boston area for a hybrid role. The position targets professionals with 7–10+ years in C++ development, strong OOP, database experience (PostgreSQL/MongoDB), and background in embedded systems.

You will optimize high-throughput image analysis algorithms, work within an Agile team, and contribute to system architecture while maintaining excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years of professional software development experience with C++
• Strong OOP concepts; experience with PostgreSQL and/or MongoDB
• Experience with Versant Object Database and Mongo/Postgres
• Background or familiarity with Embedded Systems development
• Linux/Unix environment and multithreading/concurrency proficiency
• Detail oriented; good verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Optimize existing high-throughput algorithms for image analysis, detection, and tracking
• Demonstrate fluent C++ skills; contribute to software design and architecture
• Work as part of an Agile team and contribute to shared tools
• Other duties as assigned
