Job summary

Simple Solutions is seeking a Senior C++ Developer/Sof tware Engineer in the Boston area. The role emphasizes high-throughput image analysis workflows, multithreading, and robust C++ design in a hybrid environment.

Ideal candidates will have 7-10+ years of hands-on software development, strong OOP fundamentals, and experience with PostgreSQL and/or MongoDB, as well as Versant DB. A background in embedded systems and Linux environments is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong Object-Oriented Programming concepts; OOP fundamentals.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and/or MongoDB.
• Experience with the Versant Object Database (Versant DB) and Mongo and/or Postgres.
• Background or familiarity with Embedded Systems development.
• Linux/Unix environment and multithreading/concurrency proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Optimize existing high-throughput algorithms surrounding our image analysis, detection, and tracking efforts.
• Demonstrate fluent, idiomatic mastery of C++; comfortable with software design and architecture.
• Work as part of an Agile team and contribute to shared tools.
• Other duties as assigned.
