Job summary

Tradeweb is seeking an experienced C++ developer to join the Jersey City-based group building core services for the next-generation trading platform. You will work on real-time trading applications across Windows and Linux and contribute throughout the full project lifecycle.

The role requires 5–10 years of C++ experience, a CS degree, strong OO and multithreaded skills, and the ability to communicate with IT and business units. Remote-friendly with occasional Jersey City travel.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of C++ experience in personal or professional projects.
• Strong knowledge of modern C++ design patterns and multithreading.
• Degree in computer science or related discipline or equivalent technical knowledge.
• Experience with version control systems (GIT).
• Ability to communicate across IT and business units.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, owning and solving issues.
• Ability to identify critical production and client-facing issues and prioritize them.

Responsibilities

• Work in a C++ environment on Windows and Linux.
• Enhance and maintain backend servers (C++) for real-time trading applications.
• Contribute during all phases of the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with QA and support teams to address issues during development and testing.
