Anduril Industries in Seattle, WA, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Simulation Platform. You will help build a high-fidelity, multi-domain mission simulator in a modern C++20 codebase with ECS, C ABI plugins, and embedded scripting. You’ll work with GUI and modeling teams to extend simulations and optimize performance.

Formación

• 3 years of professional C++20 experience and strong C++ skills.
• Experience designing internal APIs and frameworks with backward compatibility.
• Solid memory management, ABI stability, and Linux toolchains.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Government Secret security clearance.

Responsabilidades

• Model authoring tools: extend the Sim frontend with UI for authoring and tuning Mission Sim models.
• Design the custom Entity-Component-System architecture underpinning the simulator.
• Plugin and SDK development: maintain a versioned C ABI for external extensions.
• Performance and scale: ensure real-time and faster-than-real-time execution with many entities.
• Integration architecture: gRPC services, DIS interoperability, networking, and file recording for analysis/playback.
• Support domain experts in integrating and enhancing capability models.
