Job summary

Fashion Nova in Beverly Hills is seeking a senior Buying/Merchandise Manager to shape the product mix across Women, Men, and Beauty categories. You will lead a team of buyers, drive trend-driven assortments, and partner with vendors to optimize costs and delivery timelines.

You will manage open-to-buy budgets, analyze sales performance, and collaborate with production, planning, and marketing to ensure timely launches and strong margins.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of experience in Buying for apparel, ideally within an ecommerce fashion brand
• Bachelor's degree in Fashion, Production, Design or related field, or equivalent work experience
• Experience managing a team of buyers (2+ years)
• Strong understanding of current and emerging fashion trends
• Experience negotiating product quality, costs, and delivery dates with vendors
• Excellent prioritization, project management, organization, and analytical skills
• High proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Workspace
• English language; additional language(s) is a plus
• Schedule Mon-Fri; Onsite position at Beverly Hills, CA

Responsibilities

• Drive assortment strategy by developing and executing buying strategies aligned with trends and customer preferences
• Forecast trends by researching market and social channels to drive on-trend product mix
• Lead cost negotiations with suppliers to optimize margins and profitability
• Oversee financial management: weekly sales, open-to-buy budgets, pricing and inventory targets
• Collaborate cross-functionally with production, replenishment, planning, and creative teams to ensure timely deliveries
• Mentor buyers in vendor relations and negotiation skills
• Present big ideas on orders to align cross-functional teams
• Attend weekly marketing meetings to voice category needs
• Scout and evaluate new vendors to support business needs
• Act as back-up for the Category Director when unavailable
