Job summary

FleetPride, the nation’s largest distributor of heavy duty parts, seeks a Buyer Level III to lead procurement for assigned vendor lines and drive program improvements. You will manage vendor performance, optimize ordering requirements, and collaborate with internal teams to meet unit objectives.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in purchasing, CPIM/ CPM preferred, and experience with JDA Demand/Fulfillment or BI reporting. This role is based in Irving, TX and requires strong leadership abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 7+ years experience in purchasing, materials and supply chain management.
• CPIM or CPM preferred.
• Experience leading and mentoring teams.
• Experience with JDA Demand/Fulfillment is a plus.
• Experience in SQL, Database, or BI reporting a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review and execute purchase orders for inventory procurement.
• Manage vendor programs by tracking minimums, ordering days, and item requirements.
• Own vendor programs and drive improvement; address negative procurement impacts.
• Lead escalation for at-risk SKUs and develop solutions.
• Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to resolve performance issues.
• Develop ideas to improve procurement process efficiency.
