Multi-Billion-Dollar Manufacturing Company in Greenville, SC is seeking a Sr Buyer to lead purchasing, supplier management, and cost-control activities to meet operational requirements. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure material availability, quality standards, and cost objectives are achieved.

The Sr Buyer will identify and resolve complex issues, monitor supplier performance, and participate in corrective actions to improve supply chain continuity.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of purchasing, supply chain, or procurement experience.
• Experience in a plant/manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of purchasing, supplier management, and supply chain fundamentals.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the purchasing, supplier management, and cost control activities to meet operational and customer requirements.
• Work with suppliers & commodities while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure material availability, quality standards, and cost objectives are achieved.
• Effectively identify, resolve, and escalate complex issues to maintain continuity and efficiency across the supply chain.
• Monitor supplier performance and participate in corrective action and improvement efforts.
• Support cost management initiatives, including price maintenance and cost-reduction activities.
