AMETEK, Inc. is seeking a Buyer to join our Supply Chain team at TMC Vibration Control. You will partner with Production, Engineering, and cross-functional teams to drive strategic sourcing, cost savings, and on-time delivery.

This role requires strong negotiation, ERP/MRP experience (Microsoft Dynamics or SAP), and a proactive, agile mindset. You will build supplier relationships, manage inventory, and support continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years in procurement in manufacturing.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and lean methodologies.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple teams.
• Professional CPSM/CPM certifications are a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Sourcing and procurement: identify suppliers, negotiate contracts, build relationships.
• Cost management: analyze trends to achieve savings and efficiency.
• Inventory management: coordinate with production and warehouse.
• Supplier management: maintain strong supplier relationships and compliance.
• Contract negotiation: terms, pricing, delivery, and payment conditions.
• Quality assurance: ensure materials meet specs and standards.
• ERP/MRP system operation: manage processes and generate reports (Dynamics/SAP).
• Lean/CI: support process improvements in procurement.
• Reporting and analysis: prepare procurement reports and identify trends.
• Compliance: ensure adherence to policies and regulations.
