Employee Relations Associates, Inc. in Charlotte, NC is seeking a procurement and materials planning professional responsible for sourcing, negotiating, buying and managing a wide range of purchase requisitions in support of manufacturing and engineering teams.

The role emphasizes maintaining the demand plan, creating BOMs in MRP systems, managing inventory, executing POs, and collaborating with engineering to resolve material issues while ensuring compliance and cost control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, supply chain or similar technical discipline.
• 5 years of technical procurement or planning experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the demand plan for the product scope.
• Create and manage BOMs in MRP systems for product scope.
• Manage inventory, reviews LBVs, align demand-supply signals and allocations, maintain product master data.
• Execute MRP Planning messages for production parts.
• Mitigate risk to ensure continuity of supply and quality.
• Issue purchase orders and manage relevant master data in MRP.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Quality to address material issues.
• Partner with stakeholders on advanced supply chain strategies to reduce cost and improve quality.
• Proactively manage inventory to prevent stock outs and optimize working capital.
• Maintain vendor relationships for real-time delivery information.
• Monitor costs to meet budgets and forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Update management on critical supply issues and analyze data.
