Job summary

Tarkett is seeking a Senior Buyer for its Middlefield, Ohio campus to oversee plant procurement and raw material sourcing. You will manage supplier relationships, drive cost savings, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time production.

Responsibilities include leading purchasing staff, driving SAP-based processes, managing monthly inventories, and delivering reports on cost reductions and process improvements across the campus.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of progressive experience in Procurement and Supply Chain within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems, including data analysis and process management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills across operational, financial, and leadership teams.

Responsibilities

• Understand plant raw portfolio and suppliers to source and procure materials to support production.
• Manage plant-specific raw materials, supplier relationships, and supplier quality for best total cost of ownership.
• Lead plant purchasing associates through performance reviews and development plans; oversee transactional activities.
• Support procurement processes and reporting; use SAP and ERP tools for data accuracy and reporting.
• Assist in inventory reconciliation and monthly outsourcing inventory processes.
