Job summary

Tarkett is seeking a Senior Buyer to oversee plant procurement at our Middlefield manufacturing facility. You will support daily operations from a raw materials perspective, manage supplier relationships, lead inventory processes, and drive cost savings through the SAP-driven P2P lifecycle.

This role requires 5–7 years of manufacturing procurement experience, strong data analysis skills, and the ability to collaborate across Operations, Finance, and Logistics.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of procurement and supply chain experience in manufacturing.
• Proficiency with SAP or similar ERP and data analysis.
• Strong communication across operations, finance, and leadership.
• Excellent organization and time management in fast-paced environments.
• Detail-oriented with inventory, procurement, or data accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure materials to support production using plant-specific portfolio.
• Manage plant-specific raw materials, supplier relations, and supplier quality.
• Lead inventory counts and reconciliation; oversee outsourcing inventory.
• Coordinate cross-functional projects and track cost savings opportunities.
• Mentor purchasing associates and oversee transactional activities.
• Use SAP and ERP systems and prepare management reports.
