Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field with five or more years of related work experience.
• Experience in a technology manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated analytical abilities with strong attention to detail; superior communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Place purchase orders to procure material in support of manufacturing and business functions.
• Build and maintain cross-functional relationships; communicate timelines and activities impacting supply chain.
• Manage build schedules and supplier delivery to minimize downtime.
• Mentor and guide junior buyers and purchasing staff as needed.
• Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers to drive cost and quality.
• Monitor supplier performance and maintain supplier relationships for optimal results.
• Collaborate with finance to resolve supplier payment issues.
