Job summary

Riley Power Group is seeking a Sr. Buyer in Rock Hill, South Carolina. The role covers purchasing, procurement, vendor management, shipping, logistics, and inventory for corporate operations and field projects.

You will manage PO issuance, delivery coordination, and invoice reconciliation while collaborating with project teams and accounting. Qualified candidates will coordinate competitive quotations, seek cost-saving opportunities, and maintain accurate purchasing records to support project

Qualifications

• Experience in purchasing, procurement, materials management, logistics, or a related function preferred.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation.
• Ability to obtain and evaluate vendor quotations and make sound purchasing recommendations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Construction, industrial, power generation, nuclear, defense, or field-project purchasing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Sr. Buyer coordinates purchasing, procurement, vendor management, shipping, logistics, and inventory for RPG's Rock Hill facility and field projects.
• Generate and issue purchase orders; track open orders through delivery and closeout.
• Coordinate with vendors, project teams, and accounting to ensure timely, accurate purchases and invoicing.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and evaluate supplier pricing and lead times.
• Maintain organized purchasing records and supplier documentation.
